Traditionally the diamond wedding ring was the quieter partner in the bridal set. The engagement ring did the heavy lifting; the stone, the setting, the story, and the wedding band sat beside it, content to be the supporting act.
That has changed. More and more of the couples coming into our Clonmel store are arriving with the diamond wedding band front of mind. Some are pairing it with a more restrained engagement ring and letting the band carry the sparkle. Others are stacking two or three together. And quite a few are buying the wedding band with an eternity ring as an anniversary piece years after the wedding, as a celebration of the life that has been built since.
