In 2026, wedding rings are stepping out from the shadow of the engagement ring and becoming a statement in their own right. Couples are choosing bands with bolder profiles, distinctive textures, and personal touches that turn a traditional symbol into something genuinely individual. From wide sculptural gold bands and curved organic silhouettes to black metal finishes and bespoke pattern work, this year’s wedding ring trends celebrate craftsmanship, character, and personal style. We’ve put together a guide to the eight wedding ring trends defining 2026 to help you find the perfect band for your big day.

Frequently Asked
Wedding Ring Questions

How much does a wedding ring cost?

There is no fixed rule, but most couples in Ireland spend between 800 and 3,500 euros per band, depending on the metal, width, and whether the ring is set with diamonds. Plain gold bands sit at the lower end, while diamond eternity bands and bespoke designs sit higher. The most important consideration is choosing a ring you love wearing every day, rather than hitting a specific budget.

Should our wedding rings match?

There is no requirement for matching wedding rings, and an increasing number of couples choose styles that suit them individually rather than as a pair. That said, many couples like to share a small detail, such as the same metal, the same internal engraving, or a coordinated finish, as a quiet symbol of the partnership. We’re happy to advise either way.

When should we order our wedding rings?

We recommend ordering wedding rings at least three months before the wedding, particularly if either ring is bespoke or features set diamonds. This gives ample time for design, manufacture, sizing adjustments, and any engraving. For off-the-shelf bands, two to three months is usually sufficient. Booking earlier rather than later removes pressure as the wedding approaches.

What metal should we choose for our wedding rings?

The most popular choices are 18ct yellow gold, 18ct white gold, and platinum. Yellow gold is having a strong moment in 2026 and offers excellent durability and warmth. Platinum is the most hard-wearing and sits naturally bright without rhodium replating. White gold offers a similar look to platinum at a lower price point but does require occasional rhodium replating. Rose gold is romantic and on-trend. Your jeweller can help you weigh up colour, durability, and budget.

Can we incorporate stones from family rings into our wedding bands?

Yes. Heirloom stones can be reset into new wedding rings in a way that keeps the family connection while creating a piece that feels current. We regularly remodel old engagement rings, eternity bands, and inherited diamonds into new wedding bands and would welcome the chance to talk you through what’s possible.

Do you offer engraving?

Yes, all of our wedding rings can be engraved on the inside of the band. Common choices include the wedding date and your partner's name. Engraving is complimentary.

Are your diamonds ethically sourced?

All of our natural diamonds are sourced from suppliers who comply fully with the Kimberley Process and provide written assurances of origin. We also offer a growing range of lab grown diamonds, which are traceable and conflict-free by their nature.

What if my wedding ring needs to be resized after the wedding?

Most wedding rings can be resized comfortably, particularly plain bands. We always recommend confirming sizing with us before the final order to minimise the chance of needing adjustments later.

Can we order our engagement ring and wedding rings together?

Yes. Designing the engagement ring and wedding ring together means we can ensure the two sit perfectly side by side, particularly important if you’re going for a curved or contoured wedding band.

Do you offer a payment plan?

Yes, we offer flexible payment plans on engagement and wedding ring purchases. Please get in touch and we’ll talk through the options that suit your timeline and budget.
