    What’s the difference between solid gold, gold-plated and gold vermeil earrings?

    Our solid gold earrings are crafted in 9ct, 14ct or 18ct gold. Gold-plated earrings have a layer of gold applied over another metal, while gold vermeil uses sterling silver as its base with a thicker layer of gold. Plated and vermeil jewellery requires a little more care to preserve its colour and finish.
