1. Choose your statement ring:

Start with a bold, statement ring. Whether it's an engagement ring, a family heirloom or a meaningful stone, this is your eye-catching, prominent centrepiece. It's also the base piece that your other rings will draw attention to. If you choose a particularly big stone or a wide heavy band, make sure the other rings in the stack are relatively understated and have narrow bands, to ensure you have enough room on your finger and avoid a look that's too heavy.

2. Play mix and match:

The secret behind a great ring stack is to create a visual texture through different weights and stone shapes, sizes and colours. There are no defined rules, feel free to play and mix it up. We love experimenting with different band widths and stone shapes to make it interesting. For instance, if your statement ring is an oval cut engagement ring with a wide band, adding a dainty curved round brilliant diamond wedding band to sit flush and finishing off the look with a crown of diamonds.

3. Less is more:

Choose your statement fingers! Ring stacks or single rings on every finger can quickly look too crowded. We love a ring stack accompanied by a single ring on a different finger as this standalone ring balances out the busy ring stack perfectly. We advise choosing every ring for its individual beauty, especially if it's as important as an engagement or eternity ring. So if you choose to wear the statement ring on its own, mix up the order of the ring stack or experiment with a different style in the future, all your rings remain individually beautiful and versatile.
